We shall endeavour to do our best to supply you with the goods requested at the time of booking. All goods hired remain the property of Lace & Roses Wedding and Event hire.


The prices quoted are for the agreed length of hire period only. All quotes are valid for 14 calendar days from the date of production.  After this date, a new quote will be issued on request for a booking to be made. 


A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total is required to book services. The remaining balance is due for payment two weeks before the event date unless otherwise specified. 


The hire period is for the agreed period only.  Should the agreed hire period be exceeded, then charges will apply.  Items are to be returned within the agreed hire period to the place of pick up.


When the hire package includes venue set-up, all hire items are to be left at the venue for collection by Lace & Roses after the event. Under no circumstances, unless previously agreed in writing by Lace & Roses, are items to be taken home or removed from the venue. 


All deposits are non-refundable if you cancel your hire date or change your mind. All cancellations must be made in writing to Lace & Roses Wedding and Event Hire. Any deposit paid will remain the property of Lace & Roses Wedding and Event Hire as stated in our booking Terms and Conditions. Prices and availability of products are subject to change without notice; however, once a deposit has been received, the prices quoted will not be affected.


Security Bond payable via EFT two weeks after the event or in cash at the time of Pick-Up.

The security bond will be deposited into the nominated bank account within 10 days of goods being returned and checked for irremovable stains, damage, or loss.


The hirers have full responsibility for hiring items from the point of pick up to the point of return or collection by Lace and Roses. ​The hires are responsible for ensuring that any props, hire items, display items are erected and placed securely to avoid any damage to persons or equipment.


Linen may be returned soiled; however, permanent stains or damage to chair covers, tablecloths, and sashes, such as red wine, ink stains, tears or pulls in the fabric, or burns, will attract a replacement charge for each damaged item.

The risk of goods will pass to you immediately once the collection of the goods has been received. Misplaced or damaged hire goods will be charged at their full value, and no substitute item will be accepted by Lace & Roses Wedding and Event Hire.


​Lace & Roses Wedding and Event Hire will not be held liable for any injury, death, or loss of income caused to the client, any third parties, or properties due to the hire of equipment or provided services by the hiring company.


Covid Appendix  A


Further to the T & C’s above the following applies to all Wedding/Event bookings placed after

March 2020.

All deposits are Non-refundable if a client cancels their booking due to Covid Restriction or otherwise.

Lace and Roses Wedding and Event Hire will endeavour where possible to reschedule the first suitable date.


However, in the event, COVID disrupts the rescheduled booking the deposit will remain non-refundable and applied to the next available date.

Postponement /Cancellation Short Notice

Additional to the 20% Deposit, any costs incurred for specialised items purchased at your request will be ducted from any refunds due. Or invoiced separately. These goods will be available to you. This also applies to the fresh flowers arrangements made at your request.

Note: The initial deposit of 20% covers services rendered before the event, administration costs, and any tax liability paid.
